Find Joy in Your Fitness Journey: Make Fitness Fun & Enjoyable

This is an absolute game changer for enjoying the process of your fitness journey… 

It’s important to discover enjoyable activities that also align with your fitness goals, especially when you’re first starting. I understand that, as a busy woman finding time for your fitness can seem impossible. 


But by finding enjoyable activities which can not only keep you fit, but boost your confidence and happiness, I promise your fitness journey will become a joyful part of your life. 


It’s been a game-changer for me. I advise all the women in my memberships and coaching to find movements that bring them joy and happiness because they’ll be more motivated, happy, and joyful for their fitness journeys. 


I’ve been passionate about fitness for over 35 years and finding joyful activities that also keep me fit has really helped. 


So I urge you to.


Discover What You Enjoy


Explore different types of activities, new sports, outside events, and things you haven’t tried before that seem interesting to you.


Some things you could try that you may enjoy are… 


Dance classes - Zumba, salsa, hip-hop, a fun way to get fit and enjoy yourself in the process. Enjoying moving your body in a way that boosts your confidence.


Outdoors - Hiking, biking, kayaking, running, swimming, exploring nature, and feeling amazing because of it, while getting a good workout in.


Sports - Soccer, pickleball, volleyball, tennis, any new sports which you may enjoy. You might meet some amazing people too!


I recommend every woman interested in kickstarting their fitness journey to try different activities that align with her goals. 


Moving your body in a way that makes you feel good about yourself, while also getting a good workout allows you to enjoy life while striving towards your goals. It genuinely makes you feel so productive!


On top of that… 


Set fun fitness goals and make them unique to you. 


For example: trying a new class or sport or setting your own personal record to beat yourself the last time you tried something. 


Having a goal you strive for makes it more enjoyable, especially when you see progress towards it!

Here are some benefits of enjoying your fitness journey…

You’ll have more motivation for it, allowing you to stay consistent easier. You’ll look forward to it and be able to stick with it without having to rely on discipline.

By finding activities you enjoy, you’ll be enjoying life more. Fun activities can reduce stress, boost mood, and give you a break from your hectic life. 


  • Connections 


Especially if you start a new class or sports group, you can meet new people and other women who have similar goals! You’ll have a sense of community.


  • Overall Health 


Not just mental health, but you’ll become fitter too! Your overall self will feel better and you will thank yourself because of it.
